This list of compositions by Jan Dismas Zelenka was indexed in accordance with Wolfgang Reiche's thematic catalogue Jan Dismas Zelenka: Thematisch-systematisches Verzeichnis der musikalischen Werke ZWV, Dresden, 1985. It includes vocal-instrumental masses, requiems, oratoria, psalms, hymns, litanies, operatic works, melodrama, processionals, antiphons, arias, motets, short liturgical and spiritual compositions, instrumental and. Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. Boston Symphony Orchestra. Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. Canadian Brass. Zelenka was best known, in his own time as in ours, for his harmonic and dynamic daring. An indefatigable experimentalist, he pushed the often conventional harmonic language of the Baroque to its limits, frequently using chromaticism in general and unresolved chains of suspensions in particular. Zelenka's dynamic markings, quite unusual for the Baroque, bring to mind a composer of the Romantic era. Zelenka was also known for his pioneering use of Czech folk rhythms, anticipating Haydn's use of central European folk music by half a century. Jan Dismas Zelenka baptised Jan Lukáš Zelenka 16 October 1679 23 December 1745, also known as Johann Dismas Zelenka, was a Czech composer and musician of the Baroque period. His music is admired for its harmonic inventiveness and counterpoint. Zelenka was born in Louňovice pod Blaníkem German: Launiowitz, a small market town southeast of Prague, in Bohemia. He was the eldest of the eight children born to Marie Magdalena née Hájek and Jiří Zelenka. The middle name Dismas is probably his confirmation name. Zelenka's father Jiří was a schoolmaster and organist in Launiow. Litaniae Omnium Sanctorum. Category: Classical. MP3 RAR album size: 1473 mb. FLAC RAR album size: 1746 mb. Cappricio N4 In A Major.
