Mastering is superb, but finding a pressing without a lot of surface noise - well that’s another matter. GZ do not produce great pressings. Universal, time to move your business to Optimal in Germany.
Άνουβις
Cut by Chris Bellman. I think this doesnt sound bad at all, id give it about 8/10. Sounds better than the original which sounds a bit thin and anaemic in comparison. I didnt find the bass too heavy handed....
Gold as Heart
Disappointing remaster. The upper and lower frequencies are over the top resulting in a harsh and unnatural sound. This doesn't sound any better than my CD and my TT is definitely capable of trouncing my CD with the right mastering and pressing. Sadly this isn't it. A great album like this deserves better.
