Floor Jammers Vol. 1 is the first in a series of EPs from some of our favourite past and future guests. Lined up for future records we have some of our previous guests including Rahaan, Mark Seven, Leo Zero, Frank Booker, Felix Dickinson, Andy Ash and more. Our first record features Felix Dickinson, Frank Booker and Al Kent alongside Australian outback reclooses Out In The Sticks. The slap bass driven track is a guaranteed floor jammer. Paid out a fair bit for this mainly for the 'Al Kent - Born This Way' Edit.Samples 'Carl Bean - I was born this way'. It's basically a funkier/better version of the edit which was done by Pal Joey/Earth People - Dance it's killer, dance floor gold.

That is a good one! Going for some $$ now too.

Actually it's an edit of the Tom Moulton Instrumental of Carl Bean's "Born This Way", which got a nice remastered job back in 2006. This version does sound good and beefy compared to the org and it is my goto for sure. The Earth People "Dance" is more of a House track that also samples other songs too; the obvious being Chic's "Dance Dance Dance". so many edits of Carl Bean :) this version is fine, same with Secret Squirrel, Ditongo one is pretty bad (sorry) and the one on Moton Records Inc is the best by a country mile (IMO of course)https://www.discogs.com/Various-Never-Forget/release/307401That edit was also the first by a good 10 years which surely counts for something.

Just listened to the secret squirrel. It's nowhere near as good as this version, this is by far the best edit I've heard. Happy for someone to correct me though!
